General Terms and Conditions of Use and Sale

These General Terms and Conditions of Use and Sale (hereinafter the “Terms”) govern access to and use of the GTA Bookings platform as well as the subscription to the services offered. By creating an account or making a booking, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and accepted these Terms in full and without reservation.

1. Definitions

  • Platform: the website and services accessible at bookings.globaltrade.fr.
  • Publisher / We: Global Trade Agency S.A., the publisher of the Platform.
  • User / You: any person accessing the Platform or creating an account on it.
  • Provider: any third party that actually delivers the booked service (airline, hotel, rental company, consular authority, transfer agency, etc.).
  • Booking: the order for a service placed via the Platform.
  • Services: all the intermediation services described in Article 4.

2. Purpose

The purpose of these Terms is to define the conditions for accessing and using the Platform, the conditions for booking, payment, cancellation and refund of the Services, as well as the respective rights and obligations of the Publisher and the User.

4. Description of services

The Platform acts as an intermediary enabling the User to:

  • search, compare and book flight tickets from airlines and our distribution partners;
  • book accommodation (hotels, residences) and vehicle rentals;
  • order transfers (airport, city);
  • request visa assistance, e-visas and administrative documents;
  • discover and book tourism offers in Cameroon and internationally.

The actual Services are provided by the Providers. The Publisher is not the carrier, the hotelier or the issuing authority; it facilitates the connection and the management of the order.

5. Registration and account

Certain features require the creation of an account. The User undertakes to provide accurate, complete and up-to-date information, and to keep their credentials confidential. Any action carried out from the account is deemed to originate from its holder. In the event of unauthorized use, the User must inform us without delay.

Access is reserved for persons of legal age and legally capable of entering into contracts.

6. Booking process

Booking follows these steps: selection of the service, entry of the required information (passengers, dates, etc.), summary and acceptance of the price, then payment. The order is only firm and final after confirmation of payment and, where applicable, confirmation of availability by the Provider.

For flights, fares and availability are provided in real time and may expire before finalization. If an offer expires, a new search at the current fare may be necessary.

7. Prices, taxes and invoicing

Prices are displayed in CFA Francs (XAF), all taxes included unless stated otherwise. Where applicable, VAT (19.25%) appears on the invoice. Platform service fees may be added and are indicated before payment.

A compliant invoice and, where applicable, a confirmation voucher / ticket are issued to you after payment and remain accessible from your account.

8. Payment

Payments are processed securely through our providers (mobile money — Orange Money, MTN MoMo — and, where available, bank card). The order is confirmed after actual receipt of payment. In the event of failure or rejection, the booking is not validated and may be automatically cancelled.

9. Confirmation and travel documents

After confirmation, the documents (invoice, ticket/voucher, booking reference) are sent by email and available in your account. It is your responsibility to check the accuracy of the information (names, dates, itineraries) upon receipt and to report any error to us immediately.

10. Cancellation, modification and refund

The conditions for cancellation and modification depend on the type of service and the Provider's rules (non-refundable fare, modification fees, cancellation window, etc.) and are specified before purchase on each offer.

  • Requests are made from your account or through our support team.
  • Any Provider fees and processing fees are deducted from the refund.
  • Approved refunds are processed within an indicative timeframe of 5 to 15 business days, depending on the payment method and the Provider.

Certain services (visa, administrative documents) are, by nature, non-refundable once the procedure has been initiated with the authorities.

11. User's obligations

  • Provide accurate information and valid documents (identity document, passport, visa).
  • Comply with the Providers' conditions and the formalities (immigration, health, customs).
  • Not use the Platform for fraudulent, unlawful purposes or purposes contrary to public order.
  • Not impair the operation, security or rights of the Platform and of third parties.

The User is solely responsible for the validity of their travel documents; no refund shall be due in the event of denial of boarding or entry due to non-compliant documents.

12. Role of intermediary and liability

The Publisher acts as an intermediary. Its liability is limited to the proper performance of its intermediation role. It cannot be held liable for breaches, delays, cancellations or the quality of services attributable to the Providers, nor for indirect damages.

The Publisher's liability cannot, in any event and except where mandatory legal provisions apply, exceed the amount of service fees actually collected in respect of the relevant booking.

13. Availability and force majeure

The Platform is accessible 24/7, subject to maintenance operations and technical contingencies. The Publisher cannot be held liable in the event of force majeure or events beyond its control (disasters, strikes, decisions by authorities, network failures, etc.).

14. Intellectual property

All content on the Platform (text, images, logos, trademarks, code, databases) is protected and remains the exclusive property of the Publisher or its partners. Any unauthorized reproduction or use is prohibited.

15. Personal data and cookies

The processing of your data is described in our Privacy Policy and the management of cookies in our Cookie Policy.

16. Complaints and mediation

Any complaint may be sent to hello@globaltrade.fr. We undertake to respond as soon as possible. In the absence of an amicable solution, the dispute may be brought before the competent courts.

17. Amendment of the Terms

The Publisher may amend these Terms at any time. The applicable version is the one in force on the date of the booking. Substantial changes are brought to your attention by any appropriate means.

18. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by Cameroonian law and, where applicable, by the OHADA uniform acts. Any dispute falls within the jurisdiction of the courts of Yaoundé, subject to the mandatory rules of consumer protection.
